Privacy policy
Updated October 14, 2026
This policy covers the Tiltsies website at tiltsies.dev. It does not replace the separate privacy disclosures for any native mobile app.
On your device
Tiltsies stores progress, times, streaks, saved runs, settings and a randomly generated player identifier in browser storage. You can choose a display name. Use a nickname if you do not want your real name displayed.
Results, replays and public records
When you submit a run, the server receives your player identifier, display name, course, time and gameplay information needed to verify the result and provide leaderboards and replays. Names, times and replay data can be shown to other players. Record-setting runs may also be announced in the club’s Discord with your chosen name, time and a link to the run. Shared result and replay links can be viewed by anyone who receives them.
Gameplay measurements
The game sends course-start, finish, fall and timeout events, together with its player identifier and relevant course and performance values, to its own server to understand gameplay. These operational events are separate from optional daily-activity tracking.
Optional daily-activity tracking
A separate random browser identifier measures daily visits, progress through the daily game, shared-link visits and moves to other club games. These records can include a broad acquisition source, such as a search engine or a shared link. This tracking is disabled when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled. It stays off in regions requiring opt-in, or when the region cannot be determined. Elsewhere it may operate automatically. This setting does not stop leaderboard submissions or the operational gameplay events described above.
DLE Club and optional sign-in
These games connect to DLE Club for shared daily results and optional progress syncing. The club uses a random player identifier. If you choose to sign in, supported progress can sync through the club across devices. Public club boards can display your chosen name and scores. See DLE Club’s privacy policy for its account, sign-in and syncing practices.
Hosting and service providers
Vercel hosts the website and its API, and Neon provides game database services. Providers process connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver requests and operate their services. Security and rate-limiting systems help prevent abuse. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States.
Website advertising
We are preparing to introduce website advertising through Playwire. Playwire advertising is not yet live as of the date above. Before activation, this policy and the site’s advertising privacy controls will be updated to reflect the services enabled. Playwire and its advertising partners may process cookies or similar identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device information, approximate location, and ad impressions and interactions to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. Personalized advertising may involve information about activity across sites, subject to applicable choices and consent. Read Playwire’s privacy policy. Optional analytics choices are separate from advertising choices.
All or partial advertising on this Website or App is managed by Playwire LLC. If Playwire publisher advertising services are used, Playwire LLC may collect and use certain aggregated and anonymized data for advertising purposes. To learn more about the types of data collected, how data is used and your choices as a user, please visit https://www.playwire.com/privacy-policy.
Retention and your choices
Local progress stays on your device until it is removed by you, the browser or the game’s cleanup routines. Clearing browser storage does not delete records already held on our servers. Server records support gameplay, historical comparisons, security and troubleshooting; retention varies by record type, and backups may persist separately. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Include the game, puzzle date, chosen display name or result link where relevant, but do not send passwords or authentication tokens. We may need information to locate your records and verify a request; aggregate statistics may not identify an individual.
Contact and changes
The website is operated by Isaac Audet, trading as Trim Automation, in British Columbia, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, email isaac@trimautomation.com. This policy may be updated as the game’s features or providers change. The date above identifies this version.
